In 2004, El Encanto, a luxury hotel in Santa Barbara, was purchased by Orient Express. Considered a historic property in the area, it is currently being renovated to rejuvenate and improve the hotel. Previously, the neighborhood cited some problems with the propery like air conditioning and parking, which will obviously be resolved before the awaited reopening of this landmark.

I had the honor of being invited in December to see the new La Prairie Spa and 3 Michelin star restaurant Epicure, which overlooks the most beautiful hotel courtyard in the Bristol Hotel in Paris.
The La Prairie Spa was beautiful and well needed. The treatment rooms have large windows to draw in inspiration from the outside and let you never forget that you are in Paris.
The Bristol hotel is the finest palace hotel in Paris. It was hard to believe they were ever lacking in what they just added; however, they achieved such greatness without it and they deserve to keep being rewarded for their perfectionism and hard work.
The Bristol is part of the Oetker Collection, which to me, is the best hotel collection so far. It has the most beautiful hotels and the best standards and service.

The Rasa is a boutique hotel under the management of Devi Resorts. It opened its doors fully to the public in September of last year, featuring quite an interesting look. Guests can stay in one of the 40 cube canvas tents, which pepper the rocky landscape.
But people shouldn't worry about being too far from the city. 45 minutes on a plane will get you right into Dehli. Comforts also won't be an issue as air-conditioning, satellite tv's, and sheltered patios are only a few of the resorts impressive amenities.
